Barbara Clinton, formerly director of the Center for Health Services at Vanderbilt, reconnected with local leader Jean Carney in Stanton Tennessee in October 2017.

SHC helped the community of Stanton conduct health fairs in the late 1970s.  In this video clip from 2017, Jean recounts the origin story of the Stanton Community Clinic, still standing today.
